The Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai is the first and largest fully air-conditioned, multipurpose indoor arena in the Middle East and the only arena to operate year-round in the region. It is set to enhance Dubai’s leisure and entertainment offering and become the ‘go to’ venue for large-scale international music concerts and sporting events.
With variety of stage configurations, and drape reduction systems, the arena can cater from anywhere between 3,000 to 17,000 spectators.
Lighting will play a special part to cater for mega music concerts and entertainment events. Webb have used the latest LED sports luminaires with CCT changing as well as RGBA capability. These luminaires can also be controlled directly from any third-party light console from multiple on-site as well as remote locations.
The control system has been designed such that in-house venue lighting merges seamlessly with temporary entertainment lighting, providing over 10 DMX universe controls. The lighting control can also convert signals to native KNX whereby, back of house lights can also be controlled from any of the console locations.
