Ian Foy

Ian's involvement in the Electrical & Lighting Industry spans over thirty (30) years working on the design, documentation and management of projects from conception to final completion.

Since joining Webb in 1991, Ian has been involved in a diverse range and number of developments covering areas such as Casinos, Hotels/Resorts, Registered Clubs, Museums, Art Galleries, Commercial Offices, Teaching Facilities, Libraries, Sporting Complexes/Stadia, Parks and Gardens.

In 1999, Ian visited Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston USA, as part of a research project, dealing with the lighting and visualisation of cities at night. This ongoing work has enabled Webb Australia Group to remain at the forefront of public area lighting design.

Over the past 3 years, Ian, in addition to his local Australian work, has been responsible for directing the Company in overseas projects. Design engineering projects have successfully been completed in Singapore, the UAE, Qatar and Egypt. Ian has also registered two Webb Companies overseas, one in Abu Dhabi and one in Qatar.
